There is in France a real school culture which is developping thanks to the national school sport federation (UNSS) and P.E. lessons. Clubs begin to get structured and they are welcoming more and more junior players.

Vincent PELTRE – France, Coach:

Our selection was made among boys and girls from the U17 to the U20 French federal squad and who are registered members of the UNSS. We received about 80 applications. We organised selections during 2 weekends, and then selected 6 women and 6 men.
All of them have already had an international experience, but the squad has little experience playing together!

In France, there is a real culture of mixity and it is the base of our development. The UNSS championships are made of mixed teams only. P.E. teachers teach this sport with mixed teams too.

This ISF championship will be a wonderful experience to exchange and meet other cultures. It will be the opportunity to share our experiences to develop Ultimate in our countries.

France is well-know for the quality of its local products to eat, so we are going to bring some specialities from our regions!”
